Our black candles are pure beeswax while our pink candles are a mix of soy and beeswax. All candles have 100% cotton wicks.

Our candles are made from soy and beeswax so unfortunately they aren’t vegan friendly. We worked long and hard trying to make our candles vegan friendly however the results were far from satisfactory. We continue to experiment and hope that we can offer our vegan friends finger candles in the near future. 

None of us are perfect, and neither are our candles. Due to the nature of the (wax) beast, there may be slight imperfections in the finished candles, such as air bubbles or chipped fingernails.

We think that these add to the uniqueness of each candle but if you think yours isn’t up to par, please do contact us. We want you to be happy.

As much as we want you to enjoy the sight of melting flesh/ haunted house, wicker man etc, we’re aware that you may want to look at them for a while prior to burning.

Wax is a fickle mistress and changes depending on its environment, such as changing colour when exposed to air or sunlight. Candles left out will soon become dusty and even candles kept in a container will eventually lose their shine and become matt.

Keep your candles out of direct sunlight and bring them back to life with a polish if they do get dusty or turn matt. We recommend using your grandma’s old nylon stockings for best results.

We don’t condone using our finger candles or Hands of Glory to render your enemies motionless, or heaven forbid, to be used in the dark arts.

Technically you can do whatever you want with them. But we recommend that you don’t stick them up your nose. Or up anywhere else.

We are a very small business and make all our candles by hand, usually to order. Generally we aim to dispatch your order within 3 – 5 business days however during busy periods, it may be more like 7 – 10 business days. If you need it quickly, please let us know prior to ordering and we’ll let you know if we can get it to you on time.

We send our candles 2nd class signed for within the UK which is £4 – £9, depending on what you order. If you would like 1st class, signed for or special delivery, please contact us and we can advise you how to pay the additional postage fees.
